1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, browsing products or placing an order on the Terjit mobile app or on this website (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. About the Service

Terjit is operated by Terjit Services, based in Nouakchott, Mauritania. The Service lets you browse a catalog of everyday products, place orders, and have them delivered to an address you provide.

3. Creating an account

To place an order you need an account, created with your phone number and a security code. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.

4. Orders, pricing & availability

• Prices shown in the app are in the displayed currency and may change over time.
• Product availability is not guaranteed — an item may become unavailable after you've added it to your cart.
• An order is only confirmed once you complete checkout and the app shows a successful confirmation.
• We may cancel or adjust an order if a product turns out to be unavailable, or in case of a pricing error.

5. Payment

Orders can currently be paid by cash on delivery or via Bankily. You're responsible for providing accurate payment information and for having sufficient funds available at the time of delivery or payment.

6. Delivery

We deliver to the address you provide in the app. Please make sure it's accurate and reachable — delivery times may vary depending on your location and product availability.

7. Cancellations & returns

If there's an issue with your order — a missing, damaged or incorrect item — please contact us as soon as possible so we can help. Since this mainly involves everyday and perishable goods, cancellation and return options may be limited once an order has been dispatched.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — for example, by attempting to access another user's account, disrupting the app's operation, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Intellectual property

The Terjit name, logo, app and website content are the property of Terjit Services and may not be copied or reused without permission, except as allowed by applicable law.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Terjit Services is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the Service, beyond the value of the affected order.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
