1. Who we are
Terjit is operated by Terjit Services, based in Nouakchott, Mauritania. This policy explains what information we collect through the Terjit mobile app and this website, and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your phone number, and your name if you provide one when registering.
- Delivery addresses: the addresses you save so we can deliver your orders.
- Order history: the products, quantities and payment method for each order you place.
- Location: used, with your permission, to help fill in nearby delivery addresses.
- App usage & diagnostics: basic analytics and crash reports, used to understand how the app is used and to fix problems.
- Push notification token: used to send you updates about your orders, if notifications are enabled.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process and deliver your orders, and let you track them.
- To communicate with you about your orders (e.g. order status updates).
- To maintain and improve the app, including diagnosing crashes and bugs.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the app work, such as:
- Our authentication provider (Keycloak), used to verify your phone number and keep your account secure.
- Our e-commerce/order-management backend, which stores your orders and addresses.
- Google Firebase, used for crash reporting, basic analytics and push notifications.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to fulfil orders, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
6. Your choices
- You can update your saved addresses and language preference directly in the app.
- You can request that we delete your account and associated data via our account deletion page — no sign-in required.
- You can disable push notifications from your device settings.
7. Children
The Service is intended for users who are legally able to enter into purchase agreements in their jurisdiction. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
